The invisible visible breakfast

My son is smart, talented and able to accomplish more than what I could at his age  But sometimes his "man genes" just don't let him function I was running late this morning Eating breakfast at home wasn't an option McDonald's, Sonic or the Donut Shop were the only time-friendly possibilities I know, I know - all unhealthy But McDonald's won Pulled up Ordered Pulled around Paid Small-talked Before pulling off I say... "Kameron check the bag and make sure it's three of each item." Lord knows I hate a wrong order! Time was of the essence. I didn't want to leave the premises until I knew our food was present and accounted for *paper bag rustles Then silence I started slow rolling Waiting on the "all clear" from Kam A thumbs up or SOMETHING Another minute passes Kam's head leans into the bag *paper bag rustles Im trying to be patient 👀 But gotdawg! Is the stuff in there or not!!! The way he was digging in the bag you'd of thought he was...*paper bag rustles Y'all It was dark outside - wee hours of the morning Which meant it was dark inside the car Which meant it was even darker inside the bag! Why didn't he turn on the ----*paper bag rustles By now I'm frustrated Snailing it towards an adjacent parking lot By now I've angled the rearview mirror to peer into the back seat Trying to understand Why👏🏾this👏🏾boy👏🏾is👏🏾having👏🏾so👏🏾much👏🏾trouble👏🏾counting👏🏾these👏🏾few👏🏾morsels! Y'all The car is now at a complete stop In a dark parking lot Waiting to hear from Kam Rooting for Kam Hoping that He can successfully count 6 items THREE BISCUITS And THREE HASHBROWNS *Kam finally turns on the light *paper bag rustles He responds.... "I see........" Then he got quiet again Y'all When.I.heard.that.bag.rustle.again.I.lost.it! L-O-S-T I-T!!!! Boys! Men! Why make simple tasks hard? Why not answer quickly? Why make things difficult? I snatched the bag and rapidly accounted for all ordered items Then he got mad Cause I had an attitude And guess who doesn't care!!!?! Guess!!!!!! I wasted about ten minutes of my life this morning Fooling with the search and seizure of items obviously visible only to the female eye Started off 32 this morning and by 7 AM I was 82 years of age fooling with him and this bag search.
